The Austin Symphony has free community events around Austin during the holidays. We caught their woodwinds quintet playing today at the Austin Central Library in downtown. It was such a treat! There weren't too many people and we had front row seats. There was a flute, a clarinet, a French horn, an oboe and a bassinet playing Christmas music and carols. We even got to sing along. Some of our favorite songs they played were Christmastime is Here, La Bahina and What Child is This/Greensleeves.
